Selwyn Outreach Centre held 2 information sessions titled - Understanding the Opioid Crisis.

We simply desire to help people expand their knowledge and available options on addiction issues.

With 500 people in attendance of session 1, we knew this was a crucial topic that needed to be discussed more.

At both sessions, 3 speakers shared, presenting the professional, practical, and personal

​

Local speakers included - the Medical Officer of Health, an EMS Supervisor, two Pharmacist, our Deputy Chief of Police, a Clinical Counselor for Drug Addiction, and a retired Police Officer.
